PCTPE boasts a unique combination of high strength nylon and flexible thermoplastic elastomer ingredients, allowing you to 3D print durable objects with semi-smooth texture that can withstand bending and twisting while exhibiting minimal stretching.
Like other Taulman nylons, white PCTPE is glossy white with medium-opacity and can be dyed to achieve custom color profiles. See examples using Rit® brand dye shown in the photo window of this product page. Taulman PCTPE is also available in our custom LulzBot Green color!

Print Surface Recommendation:
Taulman PCTPE is a nylon filament material, therefore applying a glue stick (such as Elmer's® brand) directly to the print surface before starting your LulzBot is strongly recommended.

Print Surface: PEI film recommended with a glue stick (such as UHU® brand) applied to the print surface prior to powering on your LulzBot. Maintain the print surface by powering off your LulzBot and cleaning the glue stick residue with a soft cloth and water.

Taulman PCTPE ships vacuum sealed with a rubber band and mesh securing the filament mounted on a reel.
